Ruth and Chris’s Spring Wedding

What could be more enchanting than an outdoor ceremony on a beautiful Spring day with cherry blossom trees at their peak.   Ruth and her bridesmaids were literally jumping for joy that the weather was so kind allowing Ruth and Chris their dream of an outdoor ceremony in the amazing Folley at the Minories in Colchester.  As a backdrop for wedding photos, it was a photographer’s delight.  The guests were entertained by the melodic sound of folk singer, Jasmine Ava, while they waited for the arrival of the bride and as an added surprise a barn owl supplied by Lavenham Falconry swooped in over their heads bringing the rings to the best man!

After the ceremony, a little break for refreshments on the lawns at the Minories provided an opportunity for some photos of the couple and the bridal party in the Folley before everyone headed off to Coggeshall where the reception was taking place.  Hollie Kamel’s stunning vocals provided entertainment during the evening.

Ideally suited, Ruth and Chris share a fantastic sense of humour and emanate a feeling of joy de vivre wherever they go; it was great for us to be around them to capture all their special moments.

Ruth and Chris, thank you so much for letting us be part of your special day.
